Ooh, it's just started raining. Hopefully that'll bring the temp/humidity down a bit.

My friend spending his birthday with his ex went badly. Had to pick up the heartbroken (again) drunken pieces this evening.
Fucking idiot.

For Froggy.
I stuck my trusty old analogue thermometer out on the windowsill in the shade at lunchtime today for half an hour and it nearly hit 30° but not quite.

Distant thunder and impressive lightning.
Nice thing about a mostly white cat-- I open Velux and quite often I see him flitting around.
Hunting.

Cool. The US has attacked Iran and Starmer is backing them.

My reactions on the couple of notable occasions when Starmer has used the word 'never' ---
1. I think he must be a bit thick .
2. I work out which group of people he is creeping to, and note that they are definitely not my sort of people. Plus on each occasion he is unnecessarily alienating very sizeable sectors of the public .
Oh cool, this is just the VP of the European Commission.

Yes . Not the first time she has said that, to my disappointment ... checking Wiki --
" During the March 1949 Soviet mass deportations, Kallas' mother, Kristi, six months old at the time, grandmother and great-grandmother, all labeled as "enemies of the state", were deported to Siberia. Her mother was allowed to return to Soviet-occupied Estonia in 1959." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaja_Kallas
you can see why she has a certain idea about the revived Russian Empire
And where the previous criticisms of Israel PLUS 'support' go is another matter, which applies to many other political figures ?
