Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September 2025
Re: Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September 2025
Morning , it doesn't look as though anyone will be dying of boredom !
I understand there were thousands of posts last night accusing Israel, because he'd dared to criticise it, plus the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers and his widow are swearing vengeance against the Guilty who are responsible for the Saviour's death .
On nutty English Pollies , Starmer was first with this, but others follow slavishly --
" No prospect of UK rejoining EU in my lifetime, says Starmer’s reset negotiator "
There is a solution to that you dumbass .

"Losing (your seat) and being forced to resign" as opposed to going gracefully and surprising people . Hmmm !'' He spoke to Ardern before resigning, and her advice helped him make up his mind. “She crystallised my thoughts. She said there are three ways it ends as prime minister – you die, you lose or you resign. I always wanted to go on my own terms. I know a lot of people in politics who were forced to resign or who lost their seat and they’re still bitter about it, whereas I made my decision. I took control.”

Similar question here over Macron first of all calling a snap election mid-2024 and then naming conservative Barnier, instead of going all-out to divide the VERY assorted Left but naming one of the Socialist Party as PM .But here’s the thing: little of the commentary suggesting that McSweeney can now be seamlessly discarded takes account of events just a week ago. The cabinet reshuffle left a government that, more than ever, is made in McSweeney’s image.
His ally Shabana Mahmood – the most authentic Blue Labour cabinet minister – became Home Secretary. His old Lambeth comrade Steve Reed became Housing Secretary. Pat McFadden, who toiled alongside McSweeney in Labour’s election “cell”, was made Work and Pensions Secretary for another tilt at welfare reform.
At the precise moment when he could have pursued an alternative course, Starmer doubled-down on McSweeney’s strategy and McSweeney’s people. The wisdom of this will be long debated inside Labour but the Prime Minister made his choice.

Very small lol time --- The Wall Street Journal @WSJ Sep 11
Breaking: Ammunition engraved with transgender and antifascist ideology was found inside the rifle authorities believe was used in Kirk’s shooting, sources say

Similar sources to the fifty beheaded babies ?
( 'Engraving' very small to go on a 30-06 cartridge ..)

The first time I've watched this channel, interesting that a Dem ( Jessica Tarlov) co-hosts a Fox show, and a neat piece from Jasmine Crockett at the end !

17.45 and a thud upstairs. Boy jumps so lightly onto the bed that it's hardly detectable but landing is another matter .
Down for a whine, a jump up onto the sideboard and a licking of the empty biscuit plate.
Now waiting by my feet as it's really too early for some serious whining , but NO, he begins to insist .
Clapping hands seems to hurt his ears, so now for a little peace .
Another shitty day, thunder just began + pissing down, and the stove was so full of stuff I haven't sent for landfill (such as assorted bones) that I lit it far earlier than intended !
Now nice and cosy with a slow-cooking chili con carne on the go

I had a morning filled with fire engines - something happened at a house a few doors down from mine - and there were 2 tenders (and a few police) on my road. They at least stopped the sun streaming through my livingroom window, so I could watch the rugby without glare in my eyes. Everything seems fine now.
Just had a 30 second torrential downpour, although you wouldn't know as it's now bright blue skies.

They really, really want to somehow blame trans people for Kirk's death, however tenuous. Reports I've seen are that he was living with his parents.

28 Years Later
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10548174/
I only watched this because I was on Holy Island (Lindisfarne) with my dad and brother when it was being shot. We didn't know until we got there and saw all the trucks and filming paraphernalia. There's a few nice views of the island but in an unfortunate turn of events the place has been infested by Geordies leaving me with no choice but to side with the zombies. Holy Island is much closer to Scotland than Newcastle but yeah why not have everyone saying bonnie lad and singing the Blaydon Races (which literally happens in the film). I blame Vera. And Dominic Cummings. He lives there, which to be fair he should be applauded for because half the island is holiday homes sitting empty half the year.
Anyway the film is almost entirely dross with a few moments of unintentional hilarity thrown in. Young Spike takes his mum (Jodie Comer from Killing Eve) to see a doctor on the mainland. At one point they end up walking past the Angel of the North sticking up from a forest like the Statue of Liberty from the beach in Planet of the Apes. In the latter it took 2000 years for New York to be reclaimed by the elements, in this Gateshead has been obliterated in less than 3 decades, not only that but the Tyne seemed to have disappeared for some reason. Maybe that's why the Geordies migrated North. A few zombies are killed along the way, other daft shit happens, then out of nowhere the final couple of minutes are genuinely entertaining, setting it up for another sequel which will undoubtedly be as shit as this was.
Avoid.

Re: Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September 2025
So anyway we had the largest far right march in London in our history yesterday. I could caveat that with, 'Yeah but it wasn't that big compared to protests from the left', and laugh at the videos of England flag festooned morons lining up to buy kebabs. But the fact is the Labour government minister first sent out today to do the press round, Peter Kyle, was still talking about 'legitimate grievances about immigration', before Starmer had to be prodded into saying anything stronger. How can we downplay it when a Labour government, supposed to be a bulwark against such historically dangerous nonsense is complicit in spreading it?
They've courted these scum, pandered to them, and for what? Starmer's record breakingly low poll ratings? His party shedding support at a rate never seen before in England, Scotland or Wales? Where's the pay off? What do they think is going to have us all flooding back to the fold while holding our collective noses? Because it's going to have to be something big after they've betrayed and fucked over so many people and made it abundantly clear anyone on the left can go fuck themselves.
It seems suicidal to me but I guess a few bright young things with PPE degrees know better, at least in terms of their future employment, they'll be fine while we all have to deal with the consequences.
And all the while Labour ministers, some of whom you know would speak out if the Tories were doing all this, remain quiescent and docile.
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer,
We'll keep the red flag flying here.
Uh huh.
