I remember reading about this in early Covid times, easy to situate the date because of where my Decathlon supplies come from --

So Poland has reacted to Russian provocations and closed the Belarus border, the trucks and trains are piling up, and now China is not happy !

I have an early paperback copy of Sinclair Lewis's 1935 "It Can't happen here", bought secondhand in Paris for a few francs .

It's suddenly gotten chilly. I might have to put on something with long sleeves soon.

The same here, 10° at 7AM when Boy the cat came in from the dark, demanding breakfast . Not feeling the cold at all he buggered off immediately afterwards

I've prepared the stove for lighting just in case I really feel the cold tomorrow, and as a small treat as it's then MY turn to have a Birthday !
