A little knockabout fun from the Far Right --

Crace - "" It’s not often that Farage looks wrongfooted. He is a grifter who is used to winging it. But even he seemed rather taken aback. No, he hadn’t been planning to unveil Honest Bob in London later that day. The news had come as much of a shock to him as it had to everyone else. Yes, of course he had been having talks with him,but he’d been having talks with lots of Tories. But he always kept his conversations confidential. Up until the point when he chose to share them with a few friendly journalists. ""

I never found out how he got away with the Desmond business ?

I had to really LOOK to find this piece by Van Badham yesterday --

"" Musk’s response? First, he posted laugh-cry emojis at “bikinified” images, then his company claimed it had somehow restricted the service just by paywalling their generation. Condemned as insufficient, Musk subsequently published a statement saying that using Grok to make “illegal content” would draw equivalent punishment to uploading it – ignoring Grok’s facilitation role. When Britain joined other countries – notably Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and Brazil – accelerating investigations into X’s compliance with local laws, Musk cried censorship … and shared deepfaked images of Keir Starmer, tits out, in bikini.

As scrutiny intensified this week, he ultimately declared he was not aware of any “naked underage images” being generated on the platform. Now, the tool’s been removed.

Note, 15 civil society, internet and child safety groups wrote to xAI last August, warning “a torrent of obviously nonconsensual deepfakes” was “entirely predictable”. ""

If anyone tries to persuade you of the existence of God ask them why the fuck he would design the human spine in such a way that merely twisting it a bit while scanning shopping at a self service checkout in Tesco could result in lasting agony.

Anyway it's been a fun week. First we learned that Tommy Robinson is a closet homosexual after he inadvertently outed himself on Twitter. Which resulted in the hilarious spectacle of the far right accusing everyone else of homophobia while simultaneously trying to prove there's no way little Tommy could be gay by providing screenshots of lots of homophobic things he's posted.

Then we had a whole day of rib tickling shenanigans as Robert Jenrick managed to fuck up flouncing out of the Tory party (because he'd been outwitted and bested by someone as profoundly inadequate as Kemi Badenoch), then immediately managed to fuck up joining Reform when he got lost and couldn't find the stairs so was late for his own unveiling. While it's nigh on impossible to imagine what goes on in the grotesque psyche of the likes of Jenrick, I think it's fair to say he imagined himself beforehand looking awesome in both scenarios, whereas in reality, once again, he looked like an absolute twat. Not because of the left, or immigrants, or fare jumpers on the Tube, nope, this time it was just him being the best Robert Jenrick he could be. Bless.

And then we had Trump saying just because some people turned up in boats a few hundred years ago it doesn't mean they own Greenland. Which is obviously hilarious given the history his own country, but setting that aside, as a fan of the Norse sagas it intrigues me how similar Erik the Red ('discoverer' of Greenland) and Trump are. Erik was a murderous, duplicitous, con man. He called it Greenland to tempt colonists, most of whom died at sea before they even got there, and those who survived found a miserable strip of land around the south coast that made Iceland look like the French Riviera. Under his leadership, and his successors, they were profoundly xenophobic, regarding the Inuits as less than human, 'Skraelings' (barbarian in old Norse), refusing to learn anything from them even as the ice returned after its brief retreat. *Spoiler alert* they all died. Erik's son Leif was probably born in Iceland and went on to discover Newfoundland so if landing a boat somewhere hundreds of years ago means anything Iceland should own Canada. Seriously though have you ever heard a Newfoundland accent? A lot of Irish emigrated there and it sounds like Craggy Island.

What was I talking about again? Oh yeah, my back. Fuck you God or evolution or whatever, you've got it coming and once I'm on my feet again I'll probably just be relieved and put my spiritual or biological heritability problems on the back burner. A brief respite while I recover. Then all bets are off...

And don't get me started on how a police chief has been ousted for doing the right thing. Those Maccabi Tel Aviv cunts have been banned from half of Europe and beyond yet apparently their behaviour is fine with this latest concept of the Labour Party.

A concept of the Labour Party which includes them being absolute bastards to anyone they think they can punch down to from the disabled to ethnic, religious, or sexual minorities. Basically anyone who can't fight back while they grease the wheels of those who can.

What a tragic waste of opportunity.

Hey, at least you know how you did your back in. I woke up on Xmas eve and couldn't get out of bed, I was in so much pain. Had to cancel visiting my sister and I'm on some nice, strong painkillers.

Yeah but despite all the drink and weed I jog and am mostly veggie, I'm probably the most healthy I've been since since I was a kid if you disregard the previous decades of damage. Also you had one of the scariest/bizarre medical incidents of anyone I know.

So you have form.

I was just buying humus.
