Labour are deciding to do some evil shit

My house move is definitely on for next Wednesday, we even managed to exchange contracts yesterday, a whole week before completion, which apparently is a luxury.

@refit, presumably you don't drive? I imagine they'd have stopped you if you did.

They can announce it and plan for it but I can't see it being practical, bureaucratic nightmare.

They're already doing it, pilots only so far, with results to be seen -- in Yorkshire, Cumbria, NE, People are offered cardiac rehab, physio, job-coaching and then analysis of results to measure success . Plans to expand nationwide, no plans SO FAR to penalise trusts which don't meet c.1% back to work target for the economically inactive . £45mn already spent, £25mn to be added to roll out nationwide .

Intriguingly, there's a FT article earlier in the month entitled '' The Tyranny Of Targets" , and according to the unlamented Jeremy Hunt this one is " yet another example of a worthy goal which will end up being another target that makes the NHS more micromanaged and less effective”.

In addition , What on earth happens to the very many people whose quality of life is not measurable by the Palantir-enabled bean-counters, who I assume will be left by the wayside as treatment ONLY goes to the frontline troops in the economic war for national survival ?
