I think we have. Could have sworn I'd downloaded backups, but I can't find them.

I may have broke the site trying to do a full update. Then installing a new one just decided not to work for 2 weeks.

Oh hello!*
So, we're back?
Not that much has happened since we were rudely interrupted....

When this site went down, Louise Haigh was still (just) a cabinet member. Quite a lot has indeed happened since then.

Re: Tuesday 10th December 2024
Can't say I mind having a nice new shiny forum. The only thing I'll miss were the last couple of private messages I got from Mr Hindle which I was keeping and should have backed up a long time ago so that's entirely my own fault.
So what did everyone do without the forum to distract them? Something constructive I hope. I used my free time to construct a model of a Blue Peter presenter out of egg boxes, washing up liquid bottles, milk bottle tops, and sticky back plastic. I chose Janet Ellis largely because I had the hots for her in the Eighties and thought if I were successful I could dress her up and act out my pubescent fantasies. I'm sad to say however that the results were a disappointment. It turned out you can no more make a Janet Ellis out of household rubbish than you could any of the other crap they tried to have us make in the 70's and 80's. To be fair Janet was better than the Blake's 7 gun I made when I was 10 but not by much. Her all important breasts for example were inflated oven chip bags from the bin, her hair was old scraggy shoelaces from one of those knackered pairs of shoes you keep for 'doing the gardening' that end up stuck in the bottom of a wardrobe for years, her beautiful eyes were bits of lemon peel with a currant stuck in the middle so she looked like she had jaundice. Needless to say my pubescent ardour failed to rematerialise and sickened by my grotesque creation I burned Janet in the garden and got complaints from the neighbours because she was mainly made out of plastic so in fiery death she absolutely stank.
