That appears to be what you all take for granted !

Here inabilty to drive the distance, and no family available means you automatically get a Taxi.

Convenient too that ambulances and taxis park for short stays under the hospital

Same in North Northumberland for pretty much any specialist, a 60 mile trip to Newcastle, which to be fair is less of a journey than for you.

What happens in the UK if you have a specialist appointment a minimum 90 minute drive away ?

No idea what happens if you aren't able to make your own way.

Great news on the Demo Numbers !!!

Maybe.
The Met said the pro-Palestinian march, which included anti-racist counterprotesters to the Robinson-led march, numbered 15,000 to 20,000. March organisers claim 250,000 attended.

God knows what it'll be like in the Summer. Perhaps I'll take my tent and decamp to cooler climes like a poundland Raj Viceroy, camping in a field in Scotland instead of swanning about in a colonial palace in the Himalayan foothills.

You won't do that, because midges.

Streeting?

This is the real problem, who would be any better? EdM said he wouldn't do it and he or Angela Rayner would get it in the neck from the media far, far worse than Starmer or Streeting. Though Ed might do ChX which would be a definite improvement.

Good morning.

Have moved house, not much fun but it's done.

No WiFi yet, a friend helped me with using the phone as a WiFi hotspot for the tablet, I'm now wondering if would work with the PC as I'm old fashioned and prefer a keyboard. The PC is quite new so I'll try it when I get it set up.
