Afternoon

Thanks to Sky for his reporting !

A bit of Clive Lewis from the LB --

" A growing suspicion looms that our government lacks a coherent governing philosophy or ideological compass beyond the vague pursuit of “growth”. But if growth at any cost is the mantra, the costs will soon become painfully clear. Why pledge to be clean and green, only to undermine that commitment with a Heathrow expansion promise six months later? Burning the furniture to stay warm doesn’t signal confidence – it reeks of panic. "

Off with his head !

Thought I'd share this message I got from my brother this evening.
You'll be amused by this. I was called into the school office today because a kid's gran had phoned in to complain about how I kept "sharing my political views" with her grand daughter which involved telling her that "people who voted for reform were all stupid". My line manager was laughing as he read the e-mail out and told me he'd ring her up and sort it out. Sure enough he spoke to me at the end of the day after appeasing the angry grannie and hoped I hadn't been upset by being called in for questioning.

Oh, that's a shame

At the rate they’re getting re-arrested on other charges or being shot by cops, there might not be any left to ban, soon.
