Good morning
Raining so i'm going to get wet, at the Granville pool
First chuckle of the day went to --
Angela Rayner refuses to deny she said Starmer ‘incapable of running a bath’
The deputy prime minister said she did not recognise the comments, reported in a new book, but stopped short of an outright denial

( I might read it later but others at the G were first , ex: Nesrine Malik, but this at the Times also before it -- https://archive.ph/y057E )

Even if she did, is it such a big deal really. People often say stuff they don't really believe, and "journalists" should realise this better than most.

I see Glasman is making a nuisance of himself as per usual. Does he really think this stuff is helpful to the party?

I'm sure they get "warned" about lots of things. At least they didn't go down the Tory route of simply "misplacing" the evidence.

Clearly it's a bit more serious than you're trying to make out, as a second MP has been suspended. I think Labour need to be a bit more vigilant of people saying "hey, there's a lot of racism going on here".AnatolyKasparov wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 8:29 pmI'm sure they get "warned" about lots of things. Early Starmer-time, didn't they have squads of people combing through historical soc media postings of their (then) suspects ?
So what happened to those teams ?

Pretty sure that, unlike Gwynne who has very likely been cast out for good, Oliver Ryan has just been given a bit of time on the naughty step.
