Look at it this way, all of reality is electrons sharing photons.
That's it.

Good morning, all.
Best of luck to Ukraine's real life Jed Bartlett.
They will need it.

Depressing stuff. And given the older age of the average Tory voter, should not be a surprise to most of those who voted for it, given the crumbling schools the Tories left us with after their last stint in power. This isn't naive youngsters falling for Tory lies, this is the same people knowingly voting for the same crap all over again.School funding
Our schools are beyond breaking point – where is the outrage?

I wonder how long things carry on as they are before there starts to be some serious reaction to the "baby boomers"?

Re: Easter weekend, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd April 2019
In a way the wealthy "baby boomers" that are propping up the right wing policies of the Tory party that favour asset holders over earners is already an outnumbered political force. The deliberate stoking of far right populist sentiment, based on emotion rather than just appealing to the pocket, sometimes feels like a last ditch attempt to stem a natural electoral shift towards greater redistribution as the success of the wealthy to shape policy to themselves inevitably creates fewer voters who actually benefit from supporting such policies.
Am I being optimistic in thinking if we can just hang on to democratic principles, the growth in education and access to information will ultimately lead to support for greater equality? It certainly doesn't seem inevitable to me that today's young Labour voters will move to the right as they age. The accumulation of wealth that saw many of their parents do so doesn't look likely to be repeated on the same scale. A generation of renters are not going to have the same outlook on housing policy as a generation of homeowners. Our future politics may not be any better but they will surely be very different.

I think there is much merit in that analysis.
We just need to get younger people to vote more!

May certainly help if younger people could vote more than once.
