Good morning.

I haven't been here much the last few days because my PC went kaput last week, I have a tablet as well but prefer to use a keyboard.

In theory the transition to a new one should be seamless, particularly because the shop transferred the files for me, but in practice can be a bit time consuming. Being a dinosaur, I use a camera rather than the smartphone and connecting it so I could use the Sony software took some messing about.

Anyway, to me it's extremely fast and that's only with the i3, he assured me it would be quicker than my old one which had an i5. The wonders of modern technology.

Nice to see you gilsey , glad it was only a logistical pause !

I'm impressed, well almost overawed, with how much the kids and my younger sister get done with just a smartphone.

I've looked for goodnews, but this just now did NOT improve my mood --

The Economist -- " Another sign of the times is that Pentagon figures recently questioned one ally about why it was still supplying weapons to Ukraine—a challenge that was ignored. Diplomats in Washington also report that some Trump aides say privately that they are “fed up” with Europe’s effort to strengthen Ukraine. As always with such a chaotic administration, it is hard to distinguish the true signal from the noise. "

Really shit day for trans people in the UK. Rowling's deep pockets have benefited the bigots - don't forget to not have anything to do with the new Harry Potter series.

A busy day at Chateau Frog --
7.30 bloods and shot of EPO , croissants and breakfast, fall back into bed .
Dynamic daughter arrives, begins weeding the flowers she planted last year,
grandson2 tackles the ivy colonising the north wall ....

She returns for more weeding, we haul branches from earlier woodcutting which of course had become entangled with two foot high grass and nettles ...
Make fire, which she fuels adding yet another old heap of branches from 30yards away

Perhaps it's the EPO ????? but I find surprise energy very much later and do some serious brushcutting with my 6HP machine .

Oh GS2 gave a little Bach concert before they left for lunch . He doesn't read music, but learnt just by watching his mother's fingering .

Brilliant !

zzzzzzzzzzzzz :-)
