The only newspaper not leading on him this morning, and the only one supporting him.

And anyway, what was he doing looking at tractors? It's not like there aren't any important issues to discuss at the moment.

Lots of gags around about him getting a John Deere letter from his wife...

Parish's seat is another the LibDems might fancy in a byelection - they nearly won it in 1997 and stayed competitive until the coalition.

Less than two hours from now, it will be exactly 25 years since *that* exit poll was released.

Is it possible for a human to excrete bees?
I only ask because after visiting the bathroom earlier I flushed the toilet and there was something still floating in there afterwards and it was moving. Upon closer examination it was a bee, a mason bee to be precise, which I rescued with the toilet brush. I put the poor thing out on the windowsill to dry off and after about 10 minutes it flew away. I didn't see or hear any evidence of a bee at any point until seeing it miraculously surviving the flush so how it got in the toilet is quite a mystery. Needless to say if I am pooping bees I should probably see a doctor. Unless I've somehow developed a superpower of dubious utility.

Right so the Mail prints some bullshit about Angela Rayner. She then jokes about said bullshit. Dan Hodges produces an article claiming her joke was the original source of the bullshit. Dan is shown to be completely wrong. Instead of admitting his error Dan doubles down. People laugh at Dan.
For all the attention he gets he really is deeply unimpressive. He was pitiful on QT recently.

She makes a perfectly valid point, it's a shame I'd already turned off by then after a barrage of Johnson loving, anti-Lockdown, Mail spewing garbage from the locals. It has to be said she speaks better English than the idiots who'd been on before defending sending people like her to Rwanda.

Yeah it is rather heartwarming, especially when you get the comments from those they've saved. My parents live just along the road from the lifeboat station and when I was a kid they used to fire rockets to alert the crews there was an emergency. If my dad was in he'd suddenly decide the dog needed a walk on the beach and would just happen to take his binoculars. I'm not sure if there is a nautical equivalent for rubbernecking.tinyclanger2 wrote: ↑Sun 01 May, 2022 9:52 pm Have just been watching Saving Lives at Sea.

It's funny, I never voted for Labour under Blair for various reasons, and yet those who did hate him more than I do.AnatolyKasparov wrote: ↑Sun 01 May, 2022 8:24 pm Less than two hours from now, it will be exactly 25 years since *that* exit poll was released.

May 1st 1997 was still a great day, and history shouldn't be rewritten otherwise.Sky'sGoneOut wrote: ↑Mon 02 May, 2022 12:29 amIt's funny, I never voted for Labour under Blair for various reasons, and yet those who did hate him more than I do.AnatolyKasparov wrote: ↑Sun 01 May, 2022 8:24 pm Less than two hours from now, it will be exactly 25 years since *that* exit poll was released.

It might be worth considering how Blair might be viewed now if we had got POTUS Gore in 2000.

So Nadine Dorries is now sharing a DM story with a photo of Starmer sitting next to someone who has been carefully cropped out...and turns out to be Frank Dobson. Who died in 2019...

So did anyone get the £150 council tax rebate yet? I'm trying to work out if the majority got it in April as seemingly promised or if a majority haven't yet. There doesn't appear to be much information about it.

I think we can add 'stock photo' to the ever-growing list of Things Dorries Does Not Know...
