It was the same last time (ie more an anti-Corbyn than pro-Johnson vote) and in most past elections come to that.
Even in the now much mythologised 1997, about half of Labour voters said they were more motivated by kicking the Tories out.

"Time and treachery" !
I wouldn't mind him being a deservedly unhappy SOB who might crawl away into a corner somewhere, if only he wasn't STILL working on making life worse for so many .

I mean, its all down to Starmer - really?
(rather than, you know, Uxbrisge causing the Tories to delude themselves that this stuff is actually an election winner)
Far too many, on all sides, have this "Labour main character" syndrome.

And let's not forget that Sunak has actually........ordered an inquiry.
In other words, sending out dog whistles to certain voters without actually committing to anything.

Labour and Starmer's first response was to throw Kahn under the bus, side with the Tories and say ULEZ might be a bad thing actually.AnatolyKasparov wrote: ↑Sun 30 Jul, 2023 10:38 pm I mean, its all down to Starmer - really?

Not, you know, point out that it was a scheme introduced by Johnson and made a condition of funding by Shapps - that was left to the likes of Novara and Byline Times to push.
