Re: Thursday 10th July 2025
To be fair to Otto English I think we all knew what he meant at the time, I certainly did, it was nice to have a bit of peace after the Tory mayhem.
It didn't last of course but since then he's he's been critical of Starmer, most recently over the disability benefit cuts so it seems a bit harsh (and unfair) to keep beating him with that particular stick.
As for the cuts themselves it went entirely as expected, all the amendments failed apart from the government ones to partly gut their own bill, and Labour MPs trooped through the lobbies in their droves to support what was left. Which is the further impoverishment of sick and disabled folk on UC including the effective end of support for anyone with mental health problems who aren't ill enough to be sectioned. Great job guys. Slow hand clap.

Re: Thursday 10th July 2025
My thermometer almost reached 30° at lunchtime while outside on the windowsill in the shade.
So guess which idiot decided to go for a nearly 6 mile stroll thinking it would be fine because some of it would be through woods where there'd be shade and he could stop at a nice pub for a pint halfway to rehydrate (while sitting in the beer garden in the blazing sun)?
My entire head is radiating heat. I can actually feel the air around it being warmed if I put my hands close enough.
Absolute moron.
Still it could be worse, at least I haven't flashed my genitals at a young lady and tried to blame it on autism. Because autistic people can't wear underwear apparently, 'hypersensitivity to tight clothing' don't you know. Has nobody ever introduced Gregg Wallace to boxer shorts? Mine are far from tight, in fact half of them are so stretched and full of holes they barely class as garments at all. But none of his nonsense explains why he dropped his trousers in front of the young lady in the first place regardless of whether he was wearing kecks or not. That's all you Gregg. I've got an autistic friend and an autistic fellow tenant and in all of the years I've know them both their trousers have remained firmly anchored to their waists without the slightest glimpse of meat and two veg.
If I had any advice for Gregg it would be, 'Now that you're unemployed son hurry up and claim sickness benefits because in a few months autism will qualify you for fuck all under these cunts.'
