Re: Friday 19th September 2025
Max Hastings talking sense on Trump just now , after the 9am news .
Earlier bbc business Phyllis made good points against the US barons' 'investment- takeover' of the UK .
EX -- Palantir getting £750million contracts over a few years with the MoD . Find myself agreeing with a TORY , Ben Wallace also against it -- we can do that shit ourselves !
Off to the pool .

RentaMob -- a phrase literally from my youth .
Google says 1977 but I reckon it was before that, and I don't remember it being applied to paid protesters but to the 'usual suspects' as used by Hastings .
I guess that Corbyn and Sultana were there, but they are now too busy fighting each other ?

Re: Friday 19th September 2025
Much enjoyed the QT Report --
For Donald Trump we had Piers Morgan. Suffice it to say Piers faced tumbleweed all evening as he performed mental gymnastics (or more like intellectual slapstick) in a doomed and pitiful effort to defend the repulsive orange freak he calls a friend. Even the Trump fans in the audience (and there were a smattering of them) sat on their hands presumably cringing like the rest of us at his obsequious crawling.
Quite what he gets out of it god knows. Maybe he gets invited to special parties hosted by Donald on a remote island where they hunt gnomes and rape fairies after pulling their wings off. I'm allowed to say things like that because according to Piers it's fine to say what you like, no matter how offensive, as long as it's not breaking the law. Which is presumably why he keeps being sued so often. He really is a dick.
