I went to bed last night still genuinely not knowing if the photo of Trump at that tiny desk was real or AI --
Yesterday I woke at 7 after eight hours sleep, and did a lot of work outside putting firewood under cover and generally preparing for the winter , the result today being that I got up at midday !

Trump was not banished to the children’s table. He simply became the latest American president to learn that historic Irish furniture does not adjust for ego or size.

Too early to call !
One reminder from other recent G articles is that immigration politics loom large, and govt policies have tended towards bureaucratic cruelty when treating all 'forrins' . The former liberal Sweden is becoming unrecognisable .
The number in parenthesis shows what percentage of the votes the party got in the 2022 election to the Riksdag.
The Centre Party (C) - 24 seats (6.71 %)
The Christian Democrats (KD) - 19 seats (5.34 %)
The Liberals (L) - 16 seats (4.61 %)
The Green Party (MP) - 18 seats (5.08 %)
The Moderate Party (M) - 68 seats (19.10 %)
The Social Democrats (S) - 107 seats (30.33 %)
The Sweden Democrats (SD) - 73 seats (20.54 %)
