Morning
I suppose it's somewhere in Tony Schwartz's Art of The Deal that you're on a winner if the other guy is in more of a hurry than you ?
Anyway it should be .
The sight of the UK emissaries scurrying to Washington to curry favour with the Orange Potentate, well I find it pitiable --
"No 10 has shelved plans to force tech companies to take down fake news amid fears a free speech row could derail trade talks with Donald Trump..."
" Senior figures in Mr Trump’s administration, including JD Vance, the vice-president, and Elon Musk, have openly attacked Labour’s record on free speech. In particular, they have criticised police investigating people over social media posts, including Allison Pearson, a columnist for The Telegraph.
Whilst online regulation is not formally part of the trade talks, ministers have been engaged with discussions on the issue with their American counterparts. "

Protecting small kids and adolescents is one thing, but what about the millions of susceptible adults out there ?
Didn't the since-martyred Russell Brand have six million followers ?
Three I know , otherwise intelligent and educated, have each strongly recommended their own particular youtuber who has opened their eyes to the TRUTH .
Oddly enough I couldn't name just one

Re: Monday 7th April 2025
Two pieces of good news this morning
Opening my wallet Saturday to pay in a shop, a blank space where my green Carte Vitale resides ! Eeek, my 'free at the point of delivery' medical ID was missing .
Said wallet is ancient like me, had it just dropped out while transferring it from one pocket to another, or while paying in a shop ? Two phone calls, and much fruitless searching ....
At 8.30AM I called the Hospital Admissions people, they had omitted to give it back to me on Friday morning, so put it in the post !
Next called for GP RV to adjust a bloodtest prescription BEFORE Wednesday early AM .
It's the Easter school holidays so people have better things to do, so apt for 3 this afternoon !

In the olden days, when you'd get maximum a hundred comments on his G articles, we'd have great fun with the regular 'customers' on Prem's take on the evils of the accountancy moguls --
