Warmer now, relatively, and in the end the forecast hurricane-force turned into just a severe storm . The Finistère in Brittany had the real thing as usual .
The Ukrainian volunteers and soldiers I follow have quite often opened Bluesky accounts, but the majority of their chat and fundraising is still done on twitter despite the Elon-algorithm handicapping them .
Example from Dimko -- 5 replies on BS and a twelfth of the followers .
His fundraising organisation has now passed $5million, so rather good that the Army didn't take him on the first day of the invasion when thousands queued up in Lviv !
He immediately began sourcing recce drones and starlinks for friends on the frontline and then used his IT /systems skills to swiftly build the organisation. This was operational in April 2022 --
