Morning refit, are you keeping quiet about still being in hospital, or did i miss the freedom news ?

Good Crace for first laughs of the day ---

" Zia is also obsessed with the radicalisation of many Muslims. You can’t help wondering at what point he got radicalised by Farage. He ended with a call for the return of Judaeo-Christian values. An odd shout for a Muslim man. Maybe he gets a special exemption. Maybe he also hasn’t clocked that most Christian leaders have condemned Reform’s immigration policies as profoundly unchristian. "

I went and viewed the tiny converted front room 'studio flat' today and the estate agent lady got shirty with me! It was hilarious!
Estate agent lady: "This is quite a decent sized space for a studio flat don't you think?"

Me: "You're joking aren't you? The bedsit I'm in at the minute is at least twice the size of this."

Estate agent lady: "I've never seen a bedsit this size and I've been doing this job for 20 years."

Me: "Why would I lie to you? Look I've got pictures on my phone."

Estate agent lady: "Well anyway at least you'll have your own bathroom here."

Me: "Ah yes the bathroom they've jammed in under the stairs, I noticed a tiny shower and tiny sink but no tiny toilet."

Estate agent lady: "It's across the hall."

Me: "Right so you have to actually leave the flat to go to the toilet, is its use exclusive to this flat or can anyone use it?"

Estate agent lady: "I don't know."

Me: "I see, and how much are they charging for this place?"

Estate agent lady: "£600 a month."

Me: "My mate lives at the top of this street in a proper flat for £450 a month."

Estate agent lady: "That's well below market rate, I don't know any landlords round here who'd charge that little for a flat, is he running a charity?"

Me: "No, he's a Socialist, his dad was a revolutionary Communist in Greece."

Estate agent lady: "Well there you go then. Should I bother taking you through the application process?"

Me: "What do you think?"

Estate agent lady: "I think you've dragged me out here and wasted half an hour of my time."

Me: "I'm sorry you feel that way, thanks for showing me around, I'll see myself out."

Anyway back to politics. I can't express how delighted I was to see Josh Simons, that Labour Together twat who said he'd be happy to see all asylum seekers sent to the North of Scotland squirming. And squirm he should. After all surely trying to obscure the funding of Labour Together, hiring an American PR firm to smear the journalist investigating it, then when that failed desperately trying to get them investigated by MI5 as Russian stooges goes against everything Starmer said his government would represent.

Well no. Apparently not.

Josh Simons accidentally sends details of his case to Labour MP group chat

https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/u ... group-chat
Simons appears to have been informed by the Labour chief whip, Jonathan Reynolds, that the Cabinet Office probe has found he did not breach the ministerial code.
Which if true is quite incredible. This piece of shit tried to ruin the careers and lives of people who were doing their jobs and on this occasion telling the unvarnished truth. The Guardian has released the emails they have showing Simons pleading with the security services to investigate them along with MI5's almost piss takingly polite yet sceptical response.

Thursday in Manchester could be many things, good or bad, but one thing's for sure, it'll be the beginning of the end for Starmer and the Josh Simons of this world.
