Afternoon 
Earlier I read several of the last G Liveblog comments , some really interesting people out there ...............
No wonder I was a just now a bit knackered after 40 minutes light work outside, I checked and it WAS 39° again ! The terrace has been encumbered with junk for many years, from when I had a stroke, nearly twenty years ago, then a new knee, then low morale, and recently galloping anaemia , but my recent treatment plus a more generous blood régime has given me new energy !
The logs were not as dry as they should have been plus thicker than I wanted, so have amused myself splitting them (hydraulically I'm glad to say) and laying them on the aforementioned terrace to dry . It gets up to 50° so they're cooking nicely . One daughter coming this weekend who will definitely be impressed ...
Now to the farm to get bread baked from wheats grown there and maybe some bacon from the outdoor pigs who are also fed homegrown cereals .
